MicroCosm

My friend and peer, Erik Christiansen AKA Nugshots, have been chatting for a while about the many misconceptions we’ve heard in the cannabis space about trichomes.

Most notably, the ‘amber, milky, clear’ head harvest time debate.

“Two more weeks!!” - the internet trolls shout from their keyboards every time I share an image of trichomes that don’t fit in to their ideal harvest window.

It seems some people overlook the fact that a photo captures just a single moment in time—it doesn’t mean the plant was harvested at that exact instant.

We’re here to share what we see on the day to day as photographers. Not claiming to know it all, or to prove anyone wrong..but to create a deeper conversation off platforms that censor us and where emoji comments flood the comments..

The intention is to have live shows, recorded shows, some with guests, some without.

We have a list of potential guests ranging from PhDs professors, to breeders, to photographers, to scientists, to authors.

Erik and I have combined background of photography and cannabis consumption of over 30 years!

I’ve had a camera in had since my early teens and smoked my first bowl when I was 21. I’ve enjoyed herb for over half my life, and photography even more.

I’m 38yrs old.

We intend to have a new episode every month. We’re still figuring out the flow, working out the kinks, and conceptualizing episodes.

We love to hear your feedback, episode topics, guest suggestions, and everything in between.

Be sure to subscribe and share our YouTube page and instagram!

Episode 3 will be live March 1st.

We really appreciate your support
